A short cut to know me

Only my beloved father and mother knew how many toys I dismantled to understand how they worked. From skateboards to bicycles, I grow up up with a motorbike and a wrench (until today) in hand. Born the last boy of a modest family, I learned very quickly that nothing should be taken for granted and everything I wanted I would have to work to have it. I have been working since I was 9 years old at my aunts flower shop, and after that in a subway small candie shop (yummy) and at antique shop every weekend, etc. Don't get me wrong, I had a very happy childhood and everything I wanted was "just" a number of weeks to work for.

As a teenager and already perfectionist, I acquired skills in photography and video editing as well as audio recording. Music is a big part of my life and I at the age of 15 years old I played in a few bands as a lead singer/guitarist and composed my own songs. I also went a bit digital and composed jingles and music for Atari and Amiga games. I participated in community projects and had an exciting political and militant life. I was involved in youth associations and had a small but romantic part in the creation of the "French Federation of Angry Bikers". I also had a once in a lifetime chance to be part of the illegal and underground Pirate Radio trend in the 80's Paris holding a microphone.

While I was completing my academical education I was hired by International Computer, Europe's first Apple reseller, mainly for my perseverance to get things to work and my technical knowledge in heterogene environment and Networking. At this time key accounts were in need to connect dedicated mini-computer systems (Intel AS series, Sytex, etc) and the new born Apple Macintosh. In the 90s I founded ID Assistance to provide small/medium business company short delay maintenance and SLA on Apple compatible devices. Killing the BBS and the Minitel the Internet emerged and my experience grew with it, I quickly moved my activities to Internet and IT project management.

A few months before 2000 I founded 'Shocksite Israel' to provide web- solution in a dynamic environment of emerging start-ups oriented ERP and DB management. I signed a partnership with a GPLhost to provide my customers with better control on infrastructures and security. At the same time I started to play Roller Hockey in the Israel National league (5 years as captain of Netanya team) I enjoyed every second in this competitive and team game.

In 2003 I worked as CTO for a cutting edge security company in Israel related to Fortigate products. I acquired inestimable knowledge about Penetration Testing and Vulnerability Assessment and in Incident Response. I joined Tiki Wiki CMS Groupware, A full-featured, Free Open Source all-in-one Wiki including REAL multilingual management based on PHP, MySQL, Zend Framework, jQuery and Smarty technologies.

From 2004 to 2007 I acquired a wide knowledge on POS as IT Admin and ERP Admin and was responsible for a 5000 products catalog ,management and 8 cash stores and data systems provided by Retalix (subsidiary of NCR).

In 2007 I worked for a French/Israeli company, Netineo, specializing in video delivery on the Internet and mobiles as a project manager for Orange Europe R&D with the HomeLook project.
